Gale Mote will be presenting: Creating a Culture of Accountability in Project Teams
Project teams that are characterized by finger pointing, blame, and a lack of transparency will also suffer from low morale, a lack of commitment, wasted resources, and poor results. High performing teams demand people take ownership and be accountable. Accountability is a mind-set.
In this dynamic presentation, Gale Mote will challenge you with a new look at the topic of accountability and how to create a project team based on trust, robust dialogue, clarity in agreements, and ownership for outcomes, without blame and excuses. Participants will challenge themselves to be change agents and not victim thinkers! You will not look at your work the same after you attend this presentation, guaranteed!
Objectives:
- Differentiate between behaviors of victim thinking, blaming others and those of change agents, taking ownership for behaviors and results; participants will create personal action plans for positive change and explore how to stay "above the lineTM"
- Describe how to make and keep clear agreements so expectations are mutually accepted and understood
- Explore how to positively react to roadblocks and obstacles that get in the way of meeting goals and keeping commitments
- Demonstrate how to give feedback when performance is above and below expectations
